Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avery Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Van Barneveld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Barneveld tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Van Barneveld chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marquez can pounce on him.
Marquez gets a clinch.
Marquez jumps guard.
Marquez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Marquez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Van Barneveld has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Come on Van Barneveld - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Van Barneveld pulls guard effortlessly.
Marquez stands up and waves to Van Barneveld to follow him.
Marquez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Marquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raymond Van Barneveld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marquez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marquez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Van Barneveld fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Marquez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and Marquez counters with a three punch combo that has Van Barneveld backing up. Van Barneveld nods at Marquez to acknowledge the strikes.
Marquez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Marquez throws a big counter combination but Van Barneveld scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Van Barneveld changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marquez tries to avoid it but Van Barneveld manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marquez to the ground. Marquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Van Barneveld looks to move away, Marquez throws a big counter combo bu Van Barneveld just gets out of the way.
Avery Marquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Van Barneveld.
Van Barneveld wants to clinch up but Marquez keeps it at a distance.
Van Barneveld stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Marquez.
Marquez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Van Barneveld tries to land a front kick but Marquez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Van Barneveld dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Van Barneveld throws a head kick that misses.
It looked like Marquez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Marquez counters with a three punch combo that has Van Barneveld backing up. Van Barneveld nods at Marquez to acknowledge the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marquez lands a leg kick that knocks Van Barneveld off balance momentarily.
Van Barneveld shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marquez sprawls well. Marquez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Van Barneveld gets slowly back to his feet.
Marquez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Van Barneveld is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Marquez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marquez throws a head kick that misses.
Van Barneveld has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marquez.

Marquez gets a double leg takedown into Van Barneveld's guard.
Marquez is standing up over Van Barneveld. Van Barneveld looks to escape but Marquez dives into side control.
Marquez working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Van Barneveld on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Marquez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Van Barneveld looks calm but he's in trouble here. Marquez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Van Barneveld is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Marquez lets go of the hold and Van Barneveld can pop his arm back in it's socket.
