Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Redman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Breathe. JT Redman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman scores with a body shot.
Rua shoots for a takedown but Redman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Redman. Rua does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rua doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ricio Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rua misses with a double jab.
A quick step to the side and Redman tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rua fails with a takedown attempt.
Redman throws a body punch but Rua moves out of range.
Rua dives in and grabs Redman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Redman pushes down on Rua's head and hops out.
JT Redman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricio Rua.
Rua misses with a series of wild punches.
Redman digs a good body shot into Rua's ribs.
Rua takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Redman scores with a body shot.
Rua looks winded!
Redman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rua at a distance.
Rua takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Redman tries to bum rush Rua with a series of wild strikes but Rua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rua is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Redman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Redman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Redman cracks a nice hook into Rua's ribs.
Rua takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Redman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rua walks into a straight right hand from Redman.
Redman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Redman thows a body kick. Rua tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Redman lands an overhand right.
Rua on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rua has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Redman.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rua looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Redman!
Redman is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gorilla Warfare MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Redman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rua asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Redman sneaks out the side door and pushes Rua away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Redman lands with a good body shot.

JT Redman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Redman lands with an overhand left.
Rua is rocked!
Redman feints a jab and as Rua dips his head, Redman unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Rua right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Rua falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Redman smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). JT Redman!
JT Redman bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
