Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Toby Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahmoud Kipunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kipunga scores with a takedown into Everett's guard.
Everett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kipunga wants to pass the guard but Everett is keeping the position.
Everett is wriggling around but Kipunga manages to pass to half guard.
Well, if Kipunga is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Everett is trying to stand up here but Kipunga is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kipunga stalling.
Everett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kipunga on the ground.

Kipunga not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kipunga looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Everett wants to sweep but Kipunga has passed to side control!
Kipunga landing strikes.
Kipunga tries to stand but Everett is controlling his head.
Everett tries to improve position but can't.

Kipunga is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Everett has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kipunga decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Everett gets caught flat footed, as Kipunga shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kipunga controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Let's hope that Kipunga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Everett is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kipunga is controlling him.

Kipunga drops back looking for a leg! Everett is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Everett manages to kick Kipunga off! Kipunga jumps back into Everett's guard.

Everett throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kipunga passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Everett is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kipunga's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kipunga! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Everett has tapped! This one is allllll over!
