WO is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Freire's half guard.
Freire is trying to get back to full guard.
Freire is pressing down on WO's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
WO wants to pass the guard but Freire is keeping the position.
Freire is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
WO wants to control from the top but Freire keeps moving.
Freire looking for a guillotine here but WO defends easily.

WO really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Freire postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Freire has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
