Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogan Aye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragon Warfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Shogan Aye has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shogan Aye seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warfist pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Warfist. Aye does a little dance to reset his feet.
Aye checks the leg kick nicely there.
Warfist lands a head kick. Aye smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Warfist throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Warfist scores with a body shot.
Warfist throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aye on the side of the head.
Warfist tries to land a leg kick but Aye saw it coming and moves away.
Aye attempts a counter takedown but Warfist avoids it well and moves away.
Warfist scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Warfist has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Aye looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Warfist tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Aye presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Warfist is looking to improve his position but Aye isn't that keen on the idea.
Warfist tries to control Aye's body but Aye pushes him off. Warfist squirms to his side and now Aye has his back!

Aye has the hooks in. Warfist is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Aye is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Warfist is defending well though. Aye let's go of the attempt for now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Warfist can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dragon Warfist dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Warfist does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

An out of breath Shogan Aye thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
