Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Armand Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cage Southcutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer dodges the punch combination from Southcutt.
Bauer has managed to clinch.
Bauer misses with some punches.
Southcutt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bauer tries to clinch but Southcutt moves out of range.
Bauer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bauer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bauer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Southcutt feints and as Bauer raises his hands in defense, Southcutt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Southcutt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Bauer tries to close the distance and clinch but Southcutt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Southcutt counters with a three punch combo that has Bauer backing up. Bauer nods at Southcutt to acknowledge the strikes.

Southcutt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bauer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bauer tries to bench press Southcutt off him but Southcutt keeps the position.
Southcutt content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Southcutt grinds an elbow into Bauer's temple.
Southcutt is looking to take a break and control but Bauer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bauer is looking to regain half guard here but Southcutt keeps moving and retains side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Southcutt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Southcutt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Oh Bauer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Southcutt lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Southcutt gets to his feet and stands over Bauer, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Bauer felt that one! Southcutt unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Bauer from any more punishment!
