We've been informed that Davis has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Some bone on bone action there as Davis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

nn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Davis. That one must have hurt.
nn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Davis to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Davis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Davis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed nn's guard.

nn wants to control the action here but instead Davis manages to pass to full mount!

Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
