Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fokol Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bass Hartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bass Hartman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fokol Daniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bass Hartman!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Daniel moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Daniel decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Daniel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Daniel tries to counter by clinching up but Hartman breaks away and moves out of range.
Hartman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Daniel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hartman somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daniel wants it to stay on the feet.
Fokol Daniel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bass Hartman.
Hartman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Daniel clinches up with Hartman and pushes him back against the cage.
Hartman can't get the takedown.
Daniel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hartman fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hartman shoots and misses
and Daniel counters with a left and a right that stings Hartman.
Hartman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Daniel defends well and Hartman ends up having to push Daniel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hartman looks winded!
Hartman shoots in and gets a takedown into Daniel's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Daniel manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Daniel with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Daniel gets control of Hartman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Daniel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daniel controls Hartman momentarily but Hartman frees himself.
Daniel looking for a triangle here. Hartman is fighting it but it looks tight! Daniel pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hartman is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Fokol Daniel!
