Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Horvat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Horvat's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Horvat connects with a nice short shot to Brown's temple.

Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Horvat was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Horvat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Horvat looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Brown can't hide his disappointment, as Horvat celebrates the victory.
