Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graham Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Svarog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Graham Doyle has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Graham Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Svarog!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svarog throws a combination that misses

and Doyle counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Svarog has his foot on Doyle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doyle works his way back into a safe position though.

Svarog looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Doyle has picked Svarog up and slammed him! Svarog can't keep hold of the triangle and Doyle manages to pass to side control!
Svarog can't do much from the bottom here.
Svarog wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
You can see the frustration on Svarog's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A control attempt from Svarog but he's now mounted!

Doyle throwing strikes but Svarog recovers to half guard. A much better position.
Doyle perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Svarog tries to roll over but Doyle keeps him under control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Svarog is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Doyle pulls his head out easily.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Svarog tries to get to full guard but Doyle has control of the leg.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Doyle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Svarog is fending him off so far but Doyle persists. Nope, Svarog circles away and we're back to standing.
Svarog tries to land a leg kick but Doyle saw it coming and moves away.

Doyle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Svarog smiles and moves away.

Svarog works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Doyle is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doyle lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Svarog is trying to trip Doyle. He has hold of a leg but Doyle is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Svarog persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Svarog must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Svarog is breathing heavily.
Doyle keeping moving, preventing Svarog from controlling successfully.
Doyle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Svarog wants to control from the top but Doyle keeps moving.

Doyle manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Svarog is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Svarog fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Svarog pushes Doyle back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Svarog wants to stand up but Doyle is controlling him.

Doyle throws an elbow that misses. Svarog uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Doyle's guard. Nice move by Svarog!

Doyle throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Svarog with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Doyle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Svarog wants to control from the top but Doyle keeps moving.
Svarog's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Luke Svarog will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


A combination from Svarog does no damage.
It looked like Doyle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Svarog shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Doyle as he jumps to the side.

and Doyle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Doyle kicks Svarog off and gets back to his feet.

Doyle has closed the distance and engaged Svarog in a clinch.
Svarog is working for takedown but Doyle is calmly controlling the position for now.
Graham Doyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Svarog.
Svarog takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doyle goes for a takedown in the clinch but Svarog prevents it.

Doyle looks for a takedown but Svarog sprawls well.

Svarog has closed the distance and engaged Doyle in a clinch.
Doyle has Svarog pushed against the cage.
Doyle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Svarog just stands there and leans against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Svarog controls Doyle momentarily but Doyle frees himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Luke Svarog.
I think Svarog has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
