The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chivon connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Shaw to the floor! Chivon dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like Deair Shaw has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shaw looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Chivon is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Chivon missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Chivon tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Shaw tries to get to full guard but Chivon has control of the leg.
Chivon wants to get back to his feet.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Shaw tries for a takedown but Chivon circles away easily
and as Shaw loses concentration momentarily, Chivon counters with a picture perfect head kick! Shaw goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
