Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Toby Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Ochoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orlando Ochoa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Toby Everett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Orlando Ochoa!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ochoa misses with a wild combination.

Ochoa rushes Everett and presses him up against the cage.
Everett is trying to force a seperation but Ochoa has the dominant position.
Ochoa comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Toby Everett has been cut.

Ochoa manages to break the clinch.

Ochoa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Everett, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Everett wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ochoa breaks from the clinch.
Ochoa tries to land a front kick but Everett steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ochoa scores with a one two! Everett had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ochoa manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Everett on his heels. He'll look to pass Everett's guard now, I'm sure.
Oh Everett is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ochoa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ochoa won't allow Everett to get back to his feet.
Ochoa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Ochoa is looking to advance position but Everett won't allow it.

Ochoa is looking for a kimura but Everett is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ochoa to get the leverage.

Everett looks like he's trying to stand up.

Ochoa decides to stand up.
Everett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ochoa's waist but Ochoa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Everett off to one side.
Ochoa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Everett appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ochoa leaning his opponent against the cage.
Ochoa lands a nice knee to the body.

Everett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Everett is trying to break the clinch but Ochoa has him pressed against the cage.
Everett seems to have got his legs back now.
Everett tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Ochoa manages to break the clinch.

Ochoa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ochoa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Everett dodges the ground and pound from Ochoa.

Everett tries to break the clinch but Ochoa is controlling the position.

Ochoa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Everett tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ochoa is in Everett's guard.

Everett lands with a kick to the ribs.

Ochoa gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Everett has had enough of the clinch but Ochoa keeps him there for the moment.
Ochoa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Everett fails to pull guard.

Ochoa drags the fight down to the ground.
Ochoa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Everett drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ochoa dives on top into guard.

Everett is trying to pull guard but Ochoa has him pressed against the cage.

Everett tries to counter with a takedown but Ochoa is quick to defend against it.
Ochoa is breathing heavily.
Everett swats away the attempt to clinch by Ochoa.

Ochoa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Everett looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ochoa stands up.
Ochoa tries to clinch but Everett moves out of range.
Everett throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Everett bucks up and tries to throw Ochoa off but instead Ochoa has got his back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Everett is trying to get back to his feet but Ochoa has full control of the position and if anything, Everett has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Ochoa is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Everett tries to escape but Ochoa has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ochoa has Everett up against the cage in a clinch.
Everett tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ochoa just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ochoa has hold of one of Everett's legs. Everett is fighting the takedown attempt but Ochoa gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Ochoa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ochoa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ochoa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ochoa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Everett is standing up over Ochoa. Ochoa looks to escape but Everett dives into side control.
Ochoa manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Well, if Ochoa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ochoa stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Everett to get to his feet.

Everett misses with a head kick.

Ochoa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Everett is trying to defend but Ochoa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ochoa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Everett tries to roll over but Ochoa keeps him under control.

Everett wants to get back to his feet.
Ochoa trying to control the pace.
Everett is looking for a sweep. Ochoa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Ochoa closes the distance and clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ochoa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Everett pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ochoa.
Orlando Ochoa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ochoa looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Ochoa drives through with a takedown into guard.
Everett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ochoa decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Orlando Ochoa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ochoa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
