Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Veilleux looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Check out the look on Boone's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Veilleux is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Boone connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Veilleux some visible discomfort.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Veilleux regains half guard there - taking advantage of Boone's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Veilleux tries to roll over but Boone keeps him under control.

Boone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Veilleux with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Veilleux is staying active underneath Boone, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Veilleux moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Veilleux looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Veilleux looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Veilleux!
Veilleux tries to score with some ground and pound. Boone controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Boone manages to work his way to half guard, despite Veilleux's best efforts.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Veilleux got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Veilleux has managed to get both his arms back between Boone's legs - danger averted.
Boone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Veilleux postures up in Boone's guard and throws a big left but Boone blocks it.
Boone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Veilleux bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boone's guard.

Veilleux wants to control from the top but Boone keeps moving.
Boone is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Veilleux has his hands clasped together but Boone extends and breaks Veilleux's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Boone.
