The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power throws a hook but Gardner avoids it easily.
Power throws a combination that misses
and Gardner counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Power throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Power will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gardner cracks Power with a good jab.
A swing and a miss from Power.
Gardner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Power throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gardner lands a jab to Power's midsection.
Gardner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Power. Power circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gardner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Power misses with a combination
and Gardner counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice uppercut there from Gardner.
Power throws a series of punches but Gardner moves out of range.
Power gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Power stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gardner.
Gardner slips a straight right by Power.

Gardner rushes Power and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Good body shot from Gardner.

Gardner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Power throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Power takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gardner connects with a leg kick. Power looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Power swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gardner counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gardner throws a nice inside leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gardner.
Gardner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Power misses with an uppercut
and Gardner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Power thinking.
Power is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Power falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gardner counters with a stiff right hand.
Josh Gardner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Power walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Gardner lands with a cross.

Power is rocked!
Gardner stuns Power with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gardner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Gardner lands a big uppercut and Power crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Power looks OK. Gardner waves Power back to his feet!
Oh Power is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gardner lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Power - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Gardner!
