Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tike Myson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Spunkly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myson comes into the arena with Bad MoFo blaring out of the sound system. Tike Myson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Spunkly enables Myson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Spunkly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Myson wanted to stand there but Spunkly had control of the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Myson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Myson stands up and waves to Spunkly to follow him.
Spunkly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Myson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Spunkly tries to sprawl but Myson drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Myson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spunkly lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Tike Myson has been cut.

Spunkly drops Myson with a left and a right! Oh, Myson is hurt - Spunkly dives into side control looking to finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spunkly wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Myson, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spunkly is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Myson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Myson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Spunkly wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Spunkly wants to control but Myson is keeping him busy.
Myson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Spunkly's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Myson won't allow Spunkly to pass to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Myson tries to get to full guard but Spunkly has control of the leg.
Spunkly uses his free foot to push down on Myson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Myson.
Myson tries to reverse the position but Spunkly maintains control.
Myson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Spunkly landing strikes from the mount and Myson is in trouble!

Myson is looking to improve his position but Spunkly isn't that keen on the idea.
Spunkly looking to control but Myson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Spunkly has hold of Myson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Myson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Spunkly's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Spunkly goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Myson escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Spunkly pushes Myson off looking to stand but Myson dives back in and keeps control.

Tyrone Spunkly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Myson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Spunkly tries to break free but Myson pushes him back against the cage.
Myson wants to take the fight to the mat but Spunkly manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Spunkly ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spunkly no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Myson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Spunkly trying to keep a closed guard but Myson is proving a slippery customer.

Myson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Spunkly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Myson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Myson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tike Myson.
I think Myson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
