Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between nn nn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Carter acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter rushes nn and presses him up against the cage.
nn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Carter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from nn.
nn is trying to break the clinch but Carter has him pressed against the cage.
Carter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but nn gets the underhooks and prevents it.
nn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carter walks away with a smile on his face. nn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Carter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
nn throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease.
nn nn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
nn misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carter dives in for a single leg takedown but nn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Carter drags the fight down to the ground.

Carter has his foot on nn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. nn works his way back into a safe position though.

Carter continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
nn is trying to maintain a safe position but Carter gets an underhook and turns nn into the cage.

Carter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Carter shoots in looking for a takedown but nn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Carter gets control of nn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
nn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Carter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but nn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
