Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anders Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anders Funk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sam Dean!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean is looking to land body kicks.
Funk half committed to a counter leg kick.
Jab from Dean.
Dean shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Funk counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dean throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dean fails with the takedown
and Funk counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dean is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dean doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Funk counters with a stiff right hand.
Anders Funk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Dean.
A head kick misses from Funk.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Funk chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Funk fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dean has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dean shoots in for a double leg but Funk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Funk lands a high kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dean misses with the body kick
enabling Funk to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean misses with a takedown
and Funk counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dean looks winded!
Funk lands with a hook. Dean tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dean is rocked!
Dean has his takedown stuffed
and Funk counters with a right hand from hell and Dean is out cold! A vicious knockout!
