The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarasov throws a nice looking combination but Duke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Duke throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tarasov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Duke is in Tarasov's guard.

Duke content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Tarasov has locked up a guillotine! Tarasov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Duke is holding on here and Tarasov must be using up a lot of energy. Duke has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Tarasov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A very excited looking Ivan Tarasov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
