PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angelo Alaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alaan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: BITCHES AINT SHIT. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Alaan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Angelo Alaan has been cut.

Alaan throws out a head kick that Lee doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Lee crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Lee's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

It looks like Bruce Lee has been cut.
Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lee ducks into a a hook from Alaan and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

Lee goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lee scores with a jab. Alaan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Alaan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lee, pushing him back against the ropes.

Alaan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Alaan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee.
