Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Blye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Fortune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Blye!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortune dips to his left and cracks Blye with an uppercut!
Dominic Fortune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fortune tries to score with a low kick but Blye moves his leg out of the way.
Blye lands a jab to the head.

Fortune tries to keep at a distance but Blye has taken the fight into the clinch.
Blye's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Fortune misses with a hook to the ribs.
Blye throws a head punch that misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blye has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Blye goes for a takedown attempt but Fortune pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Fortune throws a punch but it's blocked by Blye.
Fortune cracks Blye with a nice body shot.

Dominic Fortune has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Blye.

Blye tightens his grip and picks Fortune up, before dumping him to the ground. Fortune manages to land in guard.

Fortune seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Dominic Fortune will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Blye darts in looking for a takedown but Fortune gets double underhooks and turns Blye into the cage.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blye.
Good standup being displayed there by Blye as he connects with a hook.
Fortune moves forwards but Blye connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Fortune changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Blye plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Blye fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fortune manages to avoid it.
Fortune throws an overhand right that lands on Blye's shoulder, as Blye tries to avoid the shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by Blye.
Fortune throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blye.

Fortune is looking to clinch but Blye is avoiding it.
Fortune connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Blye tumbling to the canvas! Fortune pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Blye was done - good stoppage!
