Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaio Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Salvatore Ferrara!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ferrara looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ferrara is looking for a triangle here but Silva uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Silva trying to control the position but Ferrara is working away.
Ferrara parries the strikes from Silva easily there. Silva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ferrara to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva wants to control but Ferrara is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ferrara can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ferrara is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Silva wants to stand but Ferrara has his arm trapped.

Silva lands an elbow.
Silva wants to control but Ferrara is keeping him busy.
Ferrara manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ferrara is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ferrara throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely.
Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ferrara is one step ahead there.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ferrara working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ferrara controls the pace.
Ferrara is sitting in close to Silva's body. Silva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ferrara is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ferrara is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silva.
