Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TW WO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Faria might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stevie B - Spring Love. TW WO has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Faria.

WO darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

WO is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

WO is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Faria doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time WO.

WO trying to work for an americana but Faria has managed to regain full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faria wants to stand and escape but WO is having none of it.

WO is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Faria is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Faria has escaped and now he's on top!

Faria wanted to stand there but WO had control of the position.
Our spies down at at Animal House inform us that WO has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

WO looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Faria has picked WO up and slammed him! WO can't keep hold of the triangle and Faria manages to pass to side control!

Faria decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from WO.
Faria misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Faria throws a right and a left that WO avoids nicely.
Faria will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
WO fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Faria avoids it really well and circles away.
Lucas Faria is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
WO tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Faria throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling WO to counter with a crisp jab.
WO fails with a takedown attempt.
Lucas Faria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TW WO.

Faria scores with a one two! WO had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Faria cracks WO with a right hand to the side of the head.
Faria throws a right hand that WO ducks under and follows up with a left that WO also avoids with ease.
Lucas Faria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

WO drives through with a takedown into Faria's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
WO trying to control but Faria is working from the bottom.

WO drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Faria manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now WO has Faria in his guard.

Faria would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Faria avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Faria is posturing up here but WO has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Faria tries to roll out but it's too tight and Faria has to tap! Slick submission there by WO!
