Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Hills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trey Hills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Angel Rey!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rey dives in for a single leg takedown but Hills sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hills appears to be looking for a big counter.
Hills throws a leg kick which misses Rey's front leg but catches the back leg as Rey tries to avoid it.
Hills scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rey doesn't seem bothered though.
Rey fails with the takedown
and Hills counters with a two punch combo.

Trey Hills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angel Rey.

Rey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hills fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rey goes for a double leg but Hills avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hills continues to drive forward.

Horrible takedown attempt by Rey or perhaps it was just good defense by Hills, which made it look bad.
Rey shoots in looking for a takedown. Hills tries to sprawl out of it but Rey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hills manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hills tries to counter with a takedown but Rey is quick to defend against it.

Hills connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Angel Rey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hills sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hills lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hills buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hills sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rey somewhat.

Rey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hills as he jumps to the side.
Hills feints and then cracks Rey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rey down.
Hills lands a high kick!
Rey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hills circles away.
Hills shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rey eats them both and turns towards Hills to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rey gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hills.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hills!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hills's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hills duly obliges.
Hills lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
It looks like Hills has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Rey takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hills.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trey Hills dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Hills counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rey has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

and Hills counters with a series of strikes. Rey will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hills lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rey backs up against the cage.

As Rey looks to move away, Hills throws a big counter combo bu Rey just gets out of the way.
Rey takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hills is looking to wear down Rey with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hills lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Rey shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hills napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rey lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hills down.
Hills is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Hills knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rey on the ground.
Rey lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hills wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Hills is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rey has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Rey is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hills is trying to escape and Rey transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hills is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rey! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Angel Rey!
A relieved looking Angel Rey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Trey Hills was interviewed post fight and said 'Don't fear failure. Not failure, but low aim, is the crime. In great attempts it is glorious even to fail. I will be back & will be better. '.
