The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignacio moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones misses with a body punch.
Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Ignacio is proving a slippery customer.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
Ignacio is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jones has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ignacio is looking to defend but Jones has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ignacio! Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ignacio taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Conner Jones!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Conner Jones waved his t-shirt featuring Supreme Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
