Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Kmiec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Lora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felix Lora has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lora looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kmiec trying to hold on to Lora's head to control him but Lora postures up.
Kmiec on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kmiec tries to get out of the position.

Lora throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kmiec stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lora is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lora is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kmiec to keep the fight standing.
Damian Kmiec has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Lora.

Kmiec breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lora tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kmiec darts in and clinches Lora up against the cage.

Lora jumps into guard, dragging Kmiec to the mat.

Lora changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kmiec looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lora tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Kmiec regains half guard there - taking advantage of Lora's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lora lands a nice short elbow.

Kmiec fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lora to the ground. Kmiec is now in Lora's guard.

Kmiec got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lora has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kmiec has managed to get both his arms back between Lora's legs - danger averted.

Kmiec is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lora defends it well.

Kmiec lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Lora is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kmiec pulls his head out easily.
Kmiec seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lora does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kmiec fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lora tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kmiec defends well and Lora ends up having to push Kmiec into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Damian Kmiec will probably get the nod.

Lora shoots in looking for a takedown. Kmiec tries to sprawl out of it but Lora keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kmiec manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lora gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kmiec to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kmiec wants to stand and escape but instead Lora has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Kmiec is looking for a triangle but Lora pushes his legs off easily.
