PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raekwon The Chef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Kehoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Chef comes to the cage accompanied by Raekwon - Ice Cream. Kehoe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Master of Puppets" by Metallica. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Raekwon The Chef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Kehoe!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Chef connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kehoe's hands.

Kehoe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Chef as he jumps to the side.

Kehoe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The Chef fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kehoe manages to avoid it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kehoe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kehoe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Kehoe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
