Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Maltepe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maltepe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Somebody gonna get it. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maltepe moves into the clinch.
Maltepe lands an uppercut.
Yang manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Maltepe stands and steps away. Yang gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Maltepe looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Maltepe distracts Yang with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Yang wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maltepe is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maltepe can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Maltepe tries to strike from the bottom.
Maltepe striking off his back but it's not causing Yang any problems.
Maltepe thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Maltepe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Yang pushes Maltepe off and gets back to his feet.
Maltepe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Maltepe lands a couple of digs.

Maltepe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Yang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Maltepe connects with a couple of short punches.
Maltepe throws a strike but Yang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Maltepe wants to sweep but no luck.
Maltepe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Yang is breathing heavily.
Maltepe is controlling the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Maltepe lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Maltepe is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maltepe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Maltepe dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Yang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maltepe.

enabling Yang to counter with a crisp jab.
Maltepe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yang sprawls well. Yang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maltepe gets slowly back to his feet.
Yang was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Clyde Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Maltepe.

Yang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Maltepe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Yang gets caught napping as Maltepe dives in and scores a takedown. Yang manages to retain guard.

Maltepe gets to his feet and stands over Yang, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Yang felt that one! Maltepe unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Yang from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Maltepe!
As Dennis Maltepe got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: It was a great match and i hope i will be able to continue to get matches like these'.
