Li's coaches at Kombat MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Banks is trying to control the action in half guard but Li is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banks might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Li haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Banks has hold of Li's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Li tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Banks cranks the arm and Li screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Li, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
