These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salamanca looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Armstrong throws out a loose jab but Salamanca uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice uppercut there from Armstrong.
Armstrong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Armstrong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Armstrong takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Armstrong walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Armstrong scores with a sloppy right hand. Salamanca should have avoided that one.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Salamanca sends Armstrong crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Salamanca is motioning to the referee to let Armstrong up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Armstrong is rocked!

It looks like Diesel Armstrong has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salamanca moves away from the strike by Armstrong.
Armstrong is still on wobbly legs! Can Salamanca finish him?
Armstrong switches off momentarily and Salamanca cracks him with a monster right hand! Armstrong topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Salamanca dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Salamanca!
