Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borhan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tacito Abrantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abrantes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Compay Segundo - Guantanamera. Tacito Abrantes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abrantes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Khan circles away quickly and effectively.
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Abrantes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Abrantes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Khan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Abrantes sprawls well. Abrantes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Khan gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Borhan Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan shoots in but no luck this time.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Khan walks straight into a right hand from Abrantes - that's dropped him! Abrantes jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Khan from any more punishment! Khan complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tacito Abrantes!
Tacito Abrantes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
