The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ferguson throws a body punch but Day moves out of range.
Ferguson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Day manages to avoid it.
Ferguson takes a swing at Day's ribcage but misses.
Some wild striking there from Day.
Day tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ferguson defends well and Day ends up having to push Ferguson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ferguson connects with a body shot that sends Day's belly button to the back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ferguson. Day does a little dance to reset his feet.

Day walks into a straight right hand from Ferguson.
No luck for Day with that takedown attempt.
Ferguson connects with a combination that backs up Day into the cage. Ferguson lands a flurry of punches that gets past Day's guard. Day is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Ferguson bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
