Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wiremu Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandor Clegane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandor Clegane is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wiremu Williams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sandor Clegane!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Francis DeMontford and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Clegane, as that shot connected.
Clegane avoids the body shot from Williams.
Wiremu Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams thows a left - swing and a miss!
Clegane listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clegane moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clegane slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Williams swings widly with a right hand
and Clegane counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Williams thinking.

Williams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Clegane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Clegane dodges the punch combination from Williams.
Williams takes one on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clegane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clegane misses with a straight right.
Williams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clegane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Williams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Clegane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Clegane ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Clegane finds it's way round the side to connect with Williams's head.
A combination from Williams does no damage.
A swing and a miss from Williams.
Williams misses with the combination.
Williams throws a right hand that misses
and Clegane counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Williams moves out of range of the strikes.
Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Williams throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Clegane counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Williams is in trouble now - Clegane has advanced to mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clegane controlling the position easily from mount.
Williams really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clegane content just to control the position here.
Williams is trying desperately to improve position.
Williams tries to buck Clegane off but he can't manage it.
Williams tries to reverse the position but Clegane maintains control.
Clegane trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.
Clegane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Williams just holding on.
Williams tries to hold on but Clegane postures up.
Williams's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Clegane looking to control and managing it successfully.
Williams is looking to get to half guard.

Clegane is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Williams throws an off balance right hand
and Clegane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Williams throws a series of punches but Clegane moves out of range.
Williams swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Clegane to counter with a crisp jab.
Clegane takes one on the chin but seems OK.


It looks like Sandor Clegane has been cut.
Williams misses with a straight right.
Clegane loads up on a big right hand but Williams slips the punch.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Williams misses with a lunging right hand
and Clegane counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Williams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Clegane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sandor Clegane dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Clegane dips to his left and cracks Williams with an uppercut!
Williams takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sandor Clegane seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Clegane slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Clegane dodges the punch combination from Williams.
Clegane circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Williams to the canvas! Williams doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Clegane keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sandor Clegane!
Sandor Clegane is the new heavyweight champion!
Sandor Clegane decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Wiremu Williams stepped up to the mic, saying 'reehehehehhehehehee fuk'.
