Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Kirillov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Pipkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Kirillov fails to land the takedown.

Kirillov shoots in and gets a takedown into Pipkin's guard.

Pipkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pipkin trying to keep a closed guard but Kirillov is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kirillov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kirillov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kirillov wants to control from the top but Pipkin keeps moving.

Kirillov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pipkin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kirillov wants to pass to mount but Pipkin is defending the position.
Pipkin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kirillov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pipkin sees it coming and defends easily.
