The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ximba throws a head kick that misses
and Murdock counters with a thumping low kick.
Ximba misses with a lunging right hand
and Ximba takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Murdock moves out of range as Ximba throws a body kick.
Murdock was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ximba.
Ximba lands a jab to the nose.
Ximba misses with a left hand
and Murdock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice cross by Ximba.
Ximba avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Ximba closes the distance looking to clinch
and Murdock counters with a nice kick to the body.

Ximba thows a leg kick but Murdock checks it
and Murdock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ximba is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by Murdock.
Murdock lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Murdock blocks a jab.
Murdock scores with a push kick.
Murdock defending well as Ximba loads up on a big left hand.
Murdock wants to slow Ximba down by chopping away at his legs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Murdock.
Ximba looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Ximba takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Murdock lands a glancing blow to the side of Ximba's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ximba is looking to slow Murdock down with leg kicks.
Murdock moves out of range as Ximba throws a body kick.
Nice body kick there by Ximba.
Murdock throws a jab when Ximba was well out of range.

Ximba closes the distance and clinches.
Ximba tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Murdock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ximba feints and then cracks Murdock's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Murdock down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Michael Murdock will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ximba misses with the combination.
Murdock connects with a solid leg kick.
Murdock on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ximba takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Murdock attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A counter left hand to the body from Ximba misses its target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Murdock counters with a straight right hand.

and Murdock counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Oh Ximba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Murdock cracks Ximba with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
