Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Riasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riasco comes into the arena with The Mexakinz ft. Xzibit - The Wake Up Show blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santiago Riasco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nick Evans!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riasco drives through with a takedown into guard.
Evans looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Evans is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans is continuing to stall.
Riasco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Evans lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Evans pushes down on Riasco's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Riasco is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Evans pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
