Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guadalupe Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kodokan Judan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kodokan Judan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kodokan Judan!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Judan.

Rivera throws Judan to one side and escapes!

Judan feints and as Rivera raises his hands in defense, Judan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rivera is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Rivera.

Rivera decides to pull guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivera avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rivera could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rivera manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Rivera ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rivera no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Judan trying to control but Rivera is working from the bottom.
Rivera is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Judan looking to sit in guard and control but Rivera gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rivera decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Judan, up you get!

Judan clinches with his opponent.

Rivera has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Judan uses from the top position.
Judan wants to control from the top but Rivera keeps moving.

Rivera wriggles free and stands up.

Judan darts in and clinches Rivera up against the cage.

Judan jumps into guard, dragging Rivera to the mat.

Judan misses with a wild body shot.

Judan drives through with a takedown into Rivera's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Rivera manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Judan connects with a nice cross there... Rivera is looking wobbly and Judan recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Rivera to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Judan jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
