Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quaid comes to the cage accompanied by Total Recall. Carlton has chosen 2Pac - I'm A Soldier (Echale Mojo Remix) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Quaid seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

With the fighters up against the cage, Carlton throws an elbow but misses.

Carlton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carlton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Quaid had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Carlton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A clash of legs there as Quaid blocks the low kick.
