Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Deleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Armsslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon stuffs the takedown.
Deleon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Armsslow.
Armsslow misses with a double jab
and Deleon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Armsslow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Deleon tries to keep at a distance but Armsslow has taken the fight into the clinch.
Deleon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Armsslow gets the takedown into side control.
Deleon pushes Armsslow away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Armsslow gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Deleon manages to work his way to half guard, despite Armsslow's best efforts.

Armsslow stands up and beckons Deleon to his feet.
Armsslow tries a head kick but it misses.
Armsslow pushes Deleon up against the cage in a clinch.
Deleon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Armsslow misses with a takedown attempt - Deleon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Armsslow connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Deleon's hands.

Armsslow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Armsslow closes this distance looking for a takedown but Deleon circles away.
Teddy Deleon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Armsslow.
Deleon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Armsslow defends well and Deleon ends up having to push Armsslow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lance Armsslow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Armsslow has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Deleon is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Armsslow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Deleon smiles and moves away.

Armsslow lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Deleon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Armsslow keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been informed that Armsslow has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Deleon jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armsslow looking to sit in guard and control but Deleon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Armsslow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Deleon is controlling him.
Armsslow pulls Deleon in close to prevent any damage.
Deleon throws a strike but Armsslow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lance Armsslow will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Armsslow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Deleon is not content to let Armsslow control the position.
Armsslow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Armsslow wants to take a breather but Deleon manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Armsslow.
Armsslow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Deleon is looking for a triangle but Armsslow pushes his legs off easily.

Armsslow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Armsslow has Deleon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Armsslow pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Deleon tumbling to the mat - Armsslow dives into Deleon's guard.

As Armsslow tries to get set, Deleon tries to push him back and clinch up but Armsslow manages to avoid the attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Armsslow enables Deleon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Armsslow manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Armsslow manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Lance Armsslow seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Deleon successfully pulls guard.
Deleon has momentary wrist control but Armsslow slips an elbow through the middle.
Armsslow stands up and waves to Deleon to follow him.

Armsslow moves into range and clinches up with Deleon.
Deleon jumps guard but Armsslow turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Armsslow manages to pull guard.
Armsslow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Armsslow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deleon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Deleon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Lance Armsslow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Armsslow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
