The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daniel feints and as Macias raises his hands in defense, Daniel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Macias will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Macias is controlling Daniel's posture.
Macias controls Daniel momentarily but Daniel frees himself.
Daniel wants to control from the top but Macias keeps moving.
Macias wants to sweep here but Daniel controlling him for the moment.
Macias is looking to sweep but instead, Daniel has passed into half guard.
Daniel is pressing down on Macias's thigh, looking to free his foot. Macias is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macias is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Macias trying to hold on to Daniel's head to control him but Daniel postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Daniel tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Macias counters with a left and a right that stings Daniel.
Daniel tries to clinch
and Macias counters with a head kick.

Daniel is rocked!
Daniel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Macias is looking for a counter combo.
Daniel is still on wobbly legs! Can Macias finish him?
Daniel finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Macias's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Daniel falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
