Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Latitude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Stamper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edward Latitude has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Edward Latitude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harry Stamper!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamper shoots in but no luck this time.
Latitude lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Stamper tries to clinch there but Latitude circles away.
Latitude darts in looking for a takedown but Stamper gets double underhooks and turns Latitude into the cage.
Latitude scores with a nice body kick.
Stamper doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Latitude counters by moving into the clinch.
Stamper looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Latitude escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Latitude fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stamper, pushing him back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Latitude pulls Stamper into guard.
Latitude has Stamper pulled in close to control his posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stamper has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Latitude is proving hard to escape from.
Latitude really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stamper being controlled here momentarily.

Latitude working for a triangle but Stamper defends it easily.
Latitude lands an upkick as Stamper stands over him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Latitude has his foot on Stamper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stamper works his way back into a safe position though.
Latitude manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stamper manages to get himself to full guard.

Latitude controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Latitude postures up.
Latitude engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Latitude has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Latitude lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Latitude sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Latitude gets to his feet - Stamper follows without any prompting.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stamper misses with a body punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stamper jumps guard but Latitude turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Edward Latitude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Stamper.

Latitude ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Latitude no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Latitude pulls Stamper in close to his closed guard and prevents Stamper from doing any damage or advancing position.
Latitude bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stamper's guard.

Latitude slips nicely into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Latitude lands strikes from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Edward Latitude dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Latitude shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Latitude showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Latitude lands a nice short elbow.
Stamper wants to improve his position but Latitude is controlling well.
Latitude sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stamper defending well though.

Latitude decides to return to a standing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Latitude shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stamper napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Latitude has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stamper is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Latitude's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Latitude! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Stamper has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Edward Latitude!
