The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Brown.
Baxter tries to counter with a takedown but Brown is quick to defend against it.
Brown closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Brown manages to break the clinch.
Brown darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Baxter tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brown has closed the distance and engaged Baxter in a clinch.
Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown pushes Baxter up against the cage in a clinch.
Baxter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baxter gets tackled into the cage by Brown. Brown maintains the clinch.
Baxter wants a takedown but no success here.
Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Thurman Baxter has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown jabs at Baxter's body.
Brown cracks Baxter's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Baxter slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Brown can do further damage! This one is done, son!
