Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Makers!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Makers pushes Doe up against the cage in a clinch.
Doe can't get the takedown.

Doe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Makers prevents it.

Doe has hold of one of Makers's legs. Makers is fighting the takedown attempt but Doe gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Doe with a flurry of punches that miss.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Makers wants to clinch up but Doe keeps it at a distance.
Makers feints a jab promting Doe to slip. Makers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Doe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Makers moves out of range as Doe strikes.
Makers lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Makers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Doe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Makers drives through and clinches with Doe against the cage.
Doe is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Makers pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Doe tries for a takedown. No joy.
Doe is looking for a takedown.
Makers stops a takedown attempt from Doe.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Makers gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Doe.

Makers tries to work over Doe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Doe goes for a takedown attempt but Makers pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Makers clinches up with Doe and pushes him back against the cage.

Makers misses with a body punch.

Doe slips a jab and a cross from Makers.

Makers is looking to clinch but Doe is avoiding it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Makers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doe, pushing him back against the cage.
Makers throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Doe is trying to drag Makers to the mat but Makers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Makers digs a right hand into Doe's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Doe's gas tank.
Makers lands with a left to the head.
A short body shot lands from Makers as the two fighters clinch.
Makers lands a nice elbow.
Makers is leaning against Doe and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Makers is working Doe over against the cage.
Makers lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Makers looks to land a combination. Doe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Makers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Doe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Makers explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Makers works over Doe's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doe looks for a takedown but Makers sprawls well.
Makers unleashes a big counter combination but Doe bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Makers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doe circles away quickly and effectively.

Makers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doe, pushing him back against the cage.
Nice body punch from Makers - that landed with a thud.
Makers has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Doe turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Makers gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Makers keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Makers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Doe working over Makers with some ground and pound. Makers looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makers wants to get back to full guard.
Doe thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Doe wants to advance to full mount but Makers doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Makers wants to stand but Doe is controlling the position.
Makers keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Doe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Makers tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Makers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Makers being controlled here, momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Makers rushes Doe and presses him up against the cage.
Makers tries a body shot but Doe blocks it.
Makers swings wildly with an uppercut but Doe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Doe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Doe wants to take the fight to the mat but Makers manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Makers lands an elbow that stopped Doe in his tracks for a moment.

Doe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Makers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Doe takes an elbow to the forehead.
Makers lands a hook that snaps the head of Doe backwards.
Makers lands a hook to the side of the head.


Doe is rocked!
Makers swings wildly with an uppercut but Doe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oh Doe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Makers lands a body punch.

Makers throws a big uppercut that drops Doe! More strikes from Makers and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Doe lies dazed against the cage as Makers celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Makers!
During a confident post fight interview, Mark Makers thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
John Doe spoke after the fight, saying 'This will become just another moment in a blur of moments from the past. indecipherable from each other. I might not have left an impression. But ill remember your ass and be even better next time. '.
