Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsey Rodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Frank Castle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Castle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramsey Rodman!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle scores with a jab to the jaw.
Castle scores with a one two! Rodman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Rodman is looking to clinch but Castle is avoiding it.
Castle throws an overhand right that lands on Rodman's shoulder, as Rodman tries to avoid the shot.

Castle gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Rodman is looking to control Castle's arms but Castle gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rodman has his back to the cage.
Castle stops a takedown attempt from Rodman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodman tries to throw a body punch but Castle avoids it by throwing Rodman back against the cage.
Castle blocks an uppercut.

Castle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rodman takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Rodman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rodman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Castle is looking to counter punch.
Rodman tries to clinch up

Castle clinches.
Rodman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rodman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Castle's elbow.

A frustrated look appears on Castle's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rodman misses with a hook from the clinch.
Rodman fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rodman trying to stall but Castle improves his position.
Rodman has Castle pressed against the cage, preventing Castle from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rodman tries a body shot but Castle blocks it.
Rodman is trying to stall.
Castle tries to break free but Rodman pushes him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

A frustrated look appears on Castle's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rodman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Castle blocking some punches.
Castle is looking to break free of the clinch but Rodman has double underhooks.
Castle is trying to break the clinch but Rodman has him pressed against the cage.
Rodman misses with a body punch.
Rodman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rodman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Castle fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ramsey Rodman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rodman wants to clinch.
Castle swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rodman darts in trying to clinch
and Castle counters with a left and a right that stings Rodman.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rodman looks to score with a jab to the body but Castle is just out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Castle dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Rodman moves away from the strike by Castle.
Rodman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Castle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Castle drops down looking for a counter takedown but Rodman sprawls and moves away.
Rodman tries to clinch up
and Castle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A big left from Rodman misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Castle lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Castle moves into range and clinches up with Rodman.
Rodman tries a body shot but Castle blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Castle has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rodman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rodman misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Castle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Castle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rodman can do to turn this around?

Rodman scores with a takedown into Castle's guard.
Rodman controls from within his opponent's guard.
Castle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodman on the ground.

Rodman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rodman stays in close to Castle's body and controls the position.
Rodman is pushing down on Castle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Castle is fighting to maintain full guard but Rodman has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rodman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rodman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rodman with a couple of short strikes.

The referee warns Castle that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rodman scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Castle trying desperately to get to his feet.
Rodman controlling from the full mount.
Rodman is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rodman in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Castle is rocked!


It looks like Frank Castle has been cut.
Rodman unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Castle wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Rodman celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramsey Rodman!
