The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ryan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunt.
Ryan darts in looking for a takedown but Hunt gets double underhooks and turns Ryan into the cage.
Ryan takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Hunt blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Ryan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Ryan manages to break the clinch.
Hunt throws out a loose jab but Ryan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hunt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ryan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A head kick misses from Ryan.
Ryan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ryan gets caught napping as Hunt dives in and scores a takedown. Ryan manages to retain guard.

Hunt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ryan pushes a forearm under Hunt's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hunt is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
