The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stockton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Whyte moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stockton looks to land a right hand but Whyte moved out of range.
Whyte moves away from the strike by Stockton.
It looked like Whyte was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Stockton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Whyte slips a jab and a cross from Stockton.
Whyte feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stockton's calf.
Whyte takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Whyte gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like David Whyte has been cut.
Stockton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Whyte was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Stockton throws a looping overhand right but Whyte ducks down to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stockton throws a series of punches but Whyte avoids them all with ease.

Whyte throws a big counter combination but Stockton scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Whyte will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
