Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Mackenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kunyuk Beluk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mackenzie comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. Matthew Mackenzie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackenzie looks to land a body kick but Beluk moved away.
Mackenzie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Beluk swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mackenzie takes a swing at Beluk's ribcage but misses.
Mackenzie dodges the punch combination from Beluk.
Beluk lands with a nice body punch.

and Mackenzie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Beluk thinking.
Kunyuk Beluk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beluk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Mackenzie looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Beluk gets tackled into the cage by Mackenzie. Mackenzie maintains the clinch.
Beluk prevents a body shot from Mackenzie.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Beluk jumps guard but Mackenzie stands there with Beluk around his waist. Beluk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mackenzie creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Beluk's defenses.

Mackenzie lands a big head kick that sends Beluk tumbling to the mat! Mackenzie takes a step backwards and waves Beluk back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Kunyuk Beluk has been cut.
Mackenzie gets caught flat footed, as Beluk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Beluk is still in real trouble! Can Mackenzie finish him?
Mackenzie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Beluk seems to have recovered his senses.

Beluk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mackenzie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mackenzie is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Beluk presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Beluk throws a head kick that misses
and Mackenzie moves into the clinch.

Beluk swings wildly with an uppercut but Mackenzie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mackenzie crunches a lovely knee into Beluk's ribcage.
Beluk doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Mackenzie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some bone on bone action there as Mackenzie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mackenzie appears to be looking for a big counter.
Beluk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mackenzie misses with a double jab.
Mackenzie connects with a leg kick. Beluk looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mackenzie rushes Beluk and presses him up against the cage.
Mackenzie lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mackenzie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Whack! Mackenzie lands a heavy head kick that drops Beluk. The ref tackles Mackenzie to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Beluk was done.
