Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Remigijus Morkevicius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Capt Radzak!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radzak fails with a takedown attempt.

Morkevicius moves into the clinch successfully.
Radzak wants a takedown.
Radzak is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Morkevicius slowing the pace effectively.

Radzak breaks from the clinch.

Radzak should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Morkevicius jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Radzak walks away with a smile on his face. Morkevicius gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Radzak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Radzak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morkevicius as he avoids it easily.
Morkevicius is looking to counter the offense by Radzak and move into the clinch.

Radzak slaps away a takedown attempt from Morkevicius, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Radzak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Radzak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Radzak lands a really nice looking cross but Morkevicius seems unphased.
Radzak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morkevicius avoids it really well and circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Remigijus Morkevicius will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Radzak tries for a takedown but Morkevicius sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Radzak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morkevicius tries to avoid it but Radzak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morkevicius to the ground. Morkevicius escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Morkevicius shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Radzak sprawls well. Radzak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morkevicius gets slowly back to his feet.

Radzak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morkevicius manages to avoid it.

Radzak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morkevicius looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morkevicius is looking to regain half guard here but Radzak keeps moving and retains side control.

Radzak swings around for an armbar but Morkevicius sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Radzak's guard.

Morkevicius drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morkevicius jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Radzak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morkevicius is one step ahead there.

Morkevicius throws a big elbow that misses.
Radzak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Radzak doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Radzak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Morkevicius connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Morkevicius shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Radzak defends it nicely.
It seemed like Radzak was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Radzak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morkevicius's waist but Morkevicius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Radzak off to one side.

Radzak dives in and grabs Morkevicius's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morkevicius pushes down on Radzak's head and hops out.
Morkevicius appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Morkevicius closes the distance and clinches.

Morkevicius tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Radzak paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A frustrated look appears on Radzak's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Morkevicius, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
