The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malkolm looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Watannabe actively working from the bottom here.
Malkolm is nestled in close to Watannabe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Malkolm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Watannabe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malkolm.

Malkolm is working for a kimura but Watannabe is defending it quite comfortably.
Malkolm frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malkolm postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Watannabe looks a forlorn figure.
Malkolm lands a big shot there that rocks Watannabe but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Malkolm postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Watannabe badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Malkolm around the waist but Malkolm pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Malkolm is the winner by TKO! Malkolm jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
