Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joao Humberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joao Humberto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angus Cameron!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Humberto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cameron slips a jab and a cross from Humberto.
Humberto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cameron.
Cameron is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Cameron has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Cameron has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cameron there as he acknowledges the shot.
Humberto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Humberto throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cameron moves into the clinch.
Cameron prevents Humberto from breaking the clinch.
Cameron misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Humberto is looking to control Cameron's arms but Cameron gets an underhook and turns him. Now Humberto has his back to the cage.
Cameron is looking to take this one to the mat.
Humberto manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Humberto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cameron manages to break the clinch.
Humberto throws a series of punches but Cameron moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Cameron.
Cameron tries for a takedown but Humberto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Humberto appears to be looking for a big counter.
Cameron tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Humberto swivels and escapes.
Joao Humberto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angus Cameron.
Cameron has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Cameron throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cameron takes a jab right on the kisser.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cameron is defended easily by Humberto.

Cameron has managed to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cameron escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Joao Humberto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Humberto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Humberto misses with a wild combination.
Cameron shoots in for a takedown but Humberto shows good takedown defense.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cameron gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cameron has Humberto pressed against the cage, preventing Humberto from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Cameron pulls Humberto into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cameron has control of Humberto's left arm, preventing Humberto from doing any damage.
Humberto wants to stand but Cameron has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cameron looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Humberto working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Humberto trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Cameron lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Cameron passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cameron decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Humberto stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joao Humberto dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Cameron throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Cameron fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Humberto, pushing him back against the cage.

Cameron manages to break the clinch.
A big right from Humberto misses.
Cameron now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Humberto's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Humberto duly obliges.
Humberto shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cameron eats them both and turns towards Humberto to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Humberto misses with a wild combination.
Humberto scores with a sloppy right hand. Cameron should have avoided that one.
Cameron moves away from the strike by Humberto.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Humberto bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cameron's head.
A head kick misses from Cameron.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Humberto throws a hook to the side of Cameron's head but Cameron sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cameron clinches.
Humberto tries to circle away but Cameron has him pinned against the cage.

Cameron breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cameron has taken the fight to the clinch.

Cameron drags the fight down to the ground.

Humberto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cameron has Humberto pulled in close to control his posture.

Cameron has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Humberto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cameron has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Humberto should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cameron has tightened it up now! Humberto should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Angus Cameron!
