The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Cris Newman has been cut.
Newman throws a nice looking combination but Baba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Baba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Baba swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Newman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Newman tries to clinch but Baba moves out of range.
A good leg kick by Baba.
Newman misses with a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Newman.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Baba, right into the meat.
Baba takes a kick to the side of the head.
Baba dodges the punch combination from Newman.
Newman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Baba.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baba ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Baba digs a right hand underneath Newman's ribcage. Newman let out a lung full of air as it connected.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Baba creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A right hook to the body lands for Baba.
Baba makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Baba breaks the clinch.
Newman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Baba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Baba is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A jab from Newman misses.
Baba throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Newman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Newman gets tackled into the cage by Baba. Baba maintains the clinch.

Baba creates a bit of distance and cracks Newman with a massive left hook! Newman crumples out of camera shot, completely unconscious! He's been Nelmarked! Baba stares at him for a moment then struts over to his corner, victorious.
